You've decided to switch to automatic pool treatment and install a salt chlorinator. But will your pool water always be healthy and clear? The answer is simple: you must also ensure water balance before disinfection, throughout the life of the pool. Indeed, the dosage of disinfectant primarily depends on a good pH level. With a peristaltic pump, this level is automatically controlled.

The Poolex pH Pump is recommended for installations with a salt chlorinator that tends to raise the pool water's pH. The pH Pump measures this level and regulates the dosage of pH minus to ensure continuous balance.

Stable pH Level for Crystal-Clear Water

The secret is the pH level. Before any treatment, make sure the pH of your pool water is between 7.2 and 7.4. If not, any treatment with salt, bromine, or chlorine is simply ineffective.

Installation

The pH pump must be installed on the pool's hydraulic circuit. The pH probe and the injection system should be positioned before the chlorinator. Place the pH measurement probe close to a ground connection.

pH indicates the water's balance (acidic/alkaline). This level should be between 7.0 and 7.4 for stable water in all circumstances: weather conditions, seasonality, increased usage, etc.
